A:  No, actually you need to turn heat up gradually over a few weeks time. Especially in the winter. Warm weather will not be an issue with the floor. Temperature should be 60 degrees or higher. And humidity should be watched so the wood floor doesn't dry out and shrink.

A:  I would not recommend it being used in a bathroom. It is wood and wood based under the veneer. The moisture in a bathroom will ruin this flooring in no time.

A:  Dear customer, click-lock flooring products are the simplest of all, requiring neither glue nor nails. The tongue-and-groove design allows boards simply to click together and float, so to speak, over the subfloor.

A:  Use a damp mop to remove spots and soil. Apply appropriate cleaning solution to the cleaning cloth/mop. Do not apply directly to the floor. For moderately soiled areas, use a mild solution of isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol and distilled water. Dilute the mixture by mixing one part alcohol and 2 parts distilled water. For tougher spots, use a higher concentration of isopropyl alcohol and distilled water. For extreme cases, a solution of nail polish remover (acetone) and distilled water can be used. Liquid spills should be cleaned up immediately.

(CAUTION: Vacuums with a beater bar or power rotary brush head can damage a floor and should never be used). Use a damp mop to remove spots and soil. For moderately soiled area, use a mild solution of isopropyl alcohol and distilled water. Isopropyl alcohol is commonly referred to as rubbing alcohol and is sold in 50% to 70% concentrations. This product should be diluted by mixing one part alcohol and 2 parts distilled water.

A:  you would probably have to contact the manufacturer to find out their recommendations. However I have used a steam mop on my flooring and it is also in by bathroom which gets wet from the kids in the bath and have had no adverse affects. I only use my steam mop when I want to disinfect because I don't like the way it makes the flooring look dull. The best thing I have found to clean the flooring is the swifer jet mop that is designed specifically for hardwood floors, love the way it makes the flooring shiny and clean.
