You can also get dust and debris off the shade with compressed air or a hair dryer on a cool setting. (Just make sure to move the shade into a position where you can get at every nook, cranny and cell!) If you must do a spot cleaning, avoid any scrubbing or creasing the cells. Then leave the shade to dry out while completely lowered. -GO

To activate the system, gently lower the shade to the full extension of the height and then raise the bottom rail back up to the headrail. You should start to feel the tension tighten. Repeat until the shade works as it should.
