A:  I'm really not clear on exactly what you are asking so I'll try my best to answer. When you say mounted "into" the cabinet, I'm not sure if your meaning inside or outside. If on the inside you could probably put a small LED battery operated light on the roof of the top shelf. However, as far as the outside, I don't think there would be a way to mount a light. There is the top of the cabinet, however, I don't think it would be conducive for a light. We mounted out light above the cabinet on the wall. Hope this helps.

A:  I guess you could it would have to be small the center section would be the only place which inside measures 6 3/4" deep x 13 3/4" wide. I wouldn't get a bright one because it would blind you because it would be about eye level.
