Q:What is the weight of this tree? Will it blow over outside?

A:  Under 10lbs. It has held up well outside except for yesterday we had high winds and it tipped over several times (really high winds though where everything blowing down our street). I highly recommend this tree, it's a beautiful display.

A:  It's not very heavy at all out of the box. Maybe 10lbs. I added concrete mix into the base so it won't blow over. You could add gravel or sand as well. It's a beautiful tree & mine has not blown over after 2 storms with the added 1/4 bag concrete mix

A:  The actual weight should be in the product description somewhere. They are pretty solid but I suppose a bit light, as the base is not actual stone. So far, mine have not blown over (in ~4 weeks). We've had some wind but nothing too intense. I also have wooden square planter boxes that I placed them in, so if there's a bad wind, most likely they'd tip a bit but be supported by the box. I do think they have the potential to blow over on a gusty day, so you should reinforce them with something like a sandbag if you're worried. Or could glue them to a heavier base.

A:  We bought this for both sides of our front door which is sheltered with a roof and two walls. They fell over constantly. I bought a bag of pea gravel and filled the bases up to the top of the post that the tree attaches to inside the base and the very first night, they fell over again dumping pea gravel all over my porch. Maybe if I would have filled them with something heavier or something that would set (like mixed concrete), they would have worked better, but it was too much of a hassle for something that should have been just plug it in and go. We returned both of them.

A:  Until they correct the specs, the current specs state it weighs 235lbs which, of course, is way off. My guess is it weighs 8-10lbs and I think a good strong wind would topple it. However, there is room in the pot to add some heavy items that would help stabilize it for outdoors. Hope that helps

A:  The base has some weight to it so in general it should be fine, particularly on a sheltered porch. But a good gust will likely knock it over. Sort of like a closed patio umbrella on a base that’s not quite heavy enough - a good wind gust will knock it over.

A:  Seems to be about 10-15 lbs. Should do okay on an outdoor patio because it’s got a slim profile and nice base but I guess a really high wind might topple it. I have mine inside in my foyer. Very pleased with this purchase!
