A:  Valorie, you can apply Henry 887 TropiCool Gray over Henry 587 Dura-Brite acrylic roof coating. Make sure that you wash off the roof and let it dry prior to the application of Henry 887.

A:  Duane, yes you can apply Henry 887G 100% Silicone Gray Roof Coating to a modified bitumen roof.

A:  Jimmy, the only white coating that we make with high UV protection and is a waterproof product is Henry 887 TropiCool 100% Silicone. You will need to repair any leaks first with Henry 885 TropiCool 100% Silicone roof repair sealant and then clean the roof thoroughly with a light pressure wash or with a hose nozzle that gives a good spray. Once the roof is dry then you can coat the roof with Henry 887.

A:  Michael, Henry 887 TropiCool 100% Silicone roof coating should work very well on your RV, in fact it is the only roof coating that we do recommend for RV roofs. Henry 887 forms a very tough chemical bond to the existing roof and won't tear off from the stresses of over the road travel.

A:  Chad, Henry 887G has a tested service temperature of -40 degrees to 180 degrees so you should have no worries about the cold temperatures. You can apply Henry 887G in temperatures as low as 35 as long as there is no frost on the surface.

A:  David, clean up of tools and spray equipment that have uncured material on them may be accomplished by cleaning with VM&P Naphtha or mineral spirits. VM&P Naphtha has a higher solvency than mineral spirits.

A:  Loub, Henry 887G TropiCool 100% Silicone traditionally can be applied over an "aged" rubber roof. You will need to lightly pressure wash the roof and make sure it is dry before applying Henry 887G. It is always a good idea to do an adhesion test prior to coating any membrane roof .

A:  Golden, unfortunately we are not quite sure what the question is here. You can use Henry 887G TropiCool 100% Silicone over old or aged mineral surface cap sheet or over a roof that has been coated with an acrylic white coating in the past. If the roof has been coated with Henry 887G in the past you can also apply another coat if you want to do so. Just make sure that the surface is clean and dry before applying a coat of Henry 887G.
