A:  Yes. If the Commercial Electric track section that have has 2 copper buses on 1 side and 1 copper bus on the other (99% of them do) then yes this T Connector is compatible with your track section.

A:  I used this T-Connector with a Commercial Electric track as well as a Project Source track (from the other place). This and the other Hampton Bay and Commercial Electric track kits seem to be universal with several brands and I highly recommend.

A:  yes you can. I had to do multiple splices in the older home we were working on and also do to the configuration of the ceiling.

A:  No, there are 2 color options white or black. however it is made to take paint.

A:  I don't think so. I got the white one's and used a good bonding brushed nickel spay paint. Worked like a charm

A:  yes, there are 3 screws holding the top plastic cover, once removed you can change the shape of the T to go on opposite direction. it is very cool

A:  Yes, I've just done that. The design is good but mine had problems. The T swivels to switch from left handed to right handed. However, My units both switched from left handed to left handed. Not what I needed. It's easy to take off the cover and swap the connectors and switch the wires. Just keep the polarity correct. Just takes a minute.

A:  I am setting up an “H” shaped track with the center part of the H powered and a T connector on either end. Swiveling the T connector did not change the orientation of the ground, so it only will fit in one side.

A:  I too wanted a black t-connector as well but couldn't find one. I ended up painting this white one with a black flat paint (Rust-Oleum) and it turned out great. The only issue I ran into was the flat back area with the 'disclaimer' info. For whatever reason, paint nor permanent marker would allow anything to be place over top.

A:  all the parts is made of aluminum , then it comes with standard plastic nice looking white cover in every package there is a replacement plastic cover in black. so if you leave the white plastic cover then it is white, if you replace it with the black one then you have a black fixture. i used the white ..and felt bad throwing a way the black cover.

A:  The white connector only comes with a white cover. If you want black, you need to buy the black connector or spray paint the cover black.

A:  Either side of a straight track from Hampton Bay. I connected 2—8' and 1—4' track with it.

A:  Yes, it can be used on both. If you remove the cover the T connector swivels to change orientation. Just be aware that you may have to do some additional work. Mine switched from left handed to left handed. I needed to swap the end connectors and switch the black and white wires. It's easy to do and only takes a minute. Just be sure to keep the polarity straight.

A:  you can use it in both directions. you try it in your setup.for example.. lets say it happens to be a left side, but you need a right side T , all you have to do is unscrew the top 3 screws then you will see a moving elbow. all you have to do is turn it 90 degrees. then you got your self a right side T !!! put the plastic cover back on top and screw the 3 screws you removed
