A:  After looking at the box, I find no answer to your questions. I'll bet, if you call the number on the info I got in the package from Hampton Bay, or use their website, hamptonbay.com, they would be able to help you. The number listed is 1-855-hd-hampton

A:  Here's some ideas I found out with mine..Might help you.. A. Might want to check the Setting in side the Lid, mine has a 3 & 6 hr Setting switch others are longer B. have to Angle them so the Solar panel gets at least 6 hrs sunlight C. In Winter soltist the sun sets lower and thus Less D. If you have them in the Front of the house, its only will get sun in the AM and by 11 am their in the shade E. If Batteries are over 6 mos old? May not be holding as long a charge..Can try to buy a new set of 4 for $8 and install the new battery(s) in a couple of them and see if any difference I gave up on mine..Went back to Low Voltage lighting. More Dependable and got tired of Paying out $5 a yr for a Pair of 2 batteries per Light every yr..( X 10 lights)? = spending $50 a yr. for Batteries and Not Very Eviormentally Friendly me thinks, throwing out 20 batteries a year. ? No thanks .. I'm trying to Convert mine to Low Voltage Lighting by wiring them ..other wise I will give them to a Grumpy Neighbor down the street as a Gift..( Let him spend $50 yr for Batteries..hehe) My Brother in Wi.? Did the same, and since Oct-April they only Ave 2 days a week of sunlight , they wouldn't work anyway during the Late Fall and Winter season very often up in Wi. , and when snow covers them totally useless.. = To Undependable . For Warm Weather Climates only

A:  Sorry, I tried several and eventhough they have a 6 -10 hr switch under the lid, never lasted more than 6 hrs and I went thru several types I just Returned them all and Bought the newer LED Low Voltage Lights instead ..alot more Dependable and in the Long run? Will Cost less! My Solar lights needed 2 Batteries every yr x $5 a Pair and I had 10 lights ( Pathway and Spot) so $50 yr for Batteries? No thanks. and Being up North in Wi.., when it snows they don't get charged up and won't work till spring..( Unless you want to trapes out into the yard , in boots and brush them off everytime it snows? ) If too late to return them? Give them to a neighbor You Don't like as a gift..let them spend the $ on Batteries..hehe.. :-) Merry Xmass! Ho Ho Ho!

A:  Not sure. But not as bright as electrical plug in lights. Bright enough to light a walkway.

A:  Well, I accidentally discovered why they don't work. If you open them up, there's a yellow tab that has to be pulled. Too bad there are no instructions on the tag.

A:  The batteries cost me $10 for 4 or $2.50 ea. Each of my Lights Needs 2 or Cost $5 a yr for new Batteries I have a set of 10 lights , 6 Pathay and 4 spots It will cost me $50 a yr for Batteries So I returned them Bought a Low Voltage LED Light Set.. Will be alot Cheaper in the Long run and alot more Dependable and will work year round.. the solars don't in winter snow climates.. ( unless you want to go out and brush them off after every snow.. ) Strictly if can't do any Wiring or For Summer Use Only iN Northern Snow States or Only for Warmer Climates But will still cost alot more for R&R ing the Batteries every yr ..Ave $5 for 2 batters a yr.. Might find them On sale at the HD for $7 for 4 but not sure they are as good .. Check were they are made .. My Local HD Store people told me they've been getting dozens returned every week now ( Nov) and Others just dropping of for Recycling that were 1 yr old and No Good and to worth the Cost to Keep buying Batteries and In Wi. we only get Sunny days about 2 days wk.. So not worth it.. Go Low Voltage if you can .other wise just use in summer time.
