Answer This Question
A: There isn’t a bulb because the LED (Light Emitting Diode) does not require a large globe to protect them from the elements. This light has 4 diodes mounted to a flat surface that allows the heat generated to dissipate quickly. Mine has been in on 24/7 use for over two years.

Answer This Question
A: We (HOA) used this fixture to replace 17 old, broken, worn out fixtures and have not received any complaints about any bug problems. The light is brighter than the old 60w bulbs and being LED should last for the life of the fixture and is inexpensive enough to replace when needed in 15 or so years.
