A:  It comes hardwired, but you can buy the kit to make it plug in, which is what we did. The kit is Model # EC707WH Internet #202051399 Store SKU #555252. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Hampton-Bay-White-Linear-Track-Live-End-Power-Feed-with-Cord-Switch-EC707WH/202051399

      A:  This unit is hardwired.

      by|May 5, 2023

A:  Mine is hardwired. I modified the power connection to a lower profile on the end of the track. The track length can be modified to custom lengths as long as you pay attention to the set-back of the power connection in the rail. When you view the power strips from the factory, you will see that they are not all flush with the end. As long as the shortened piece has the same set-back for the power strips, the factory ends will fit perfectly.

A:  R20..It tells you right in the description/information on the web page of the light kit. Plus, it tells you bulbs are not included, & offers lights to buy when choosing kit.

A:  This is an EC series (compatible with all H series). It is also compatible with all linear track components sold at the Home Depot under the Hampton Bay or Commercial Electric brands. It is also compatible with most of the HALO track systems.

A:  you can definitely put 4 on the tack. I used LED bulbs, otherwise you would probably go over the wattage.

                          by|May 4, 2023

A:  Yes, you can add a 4th or 5th light to the track. You can add up to 2,400 watts of light onto 1 track or multiple tracks. However, you need to know what the amperage of the breaker that controls the circuit. A 15 AMP breaker will hold about 1,500 watts. If you were using 50 Watt light bulbs, that would equate to approx 30 track heads if nothing else is on the same circuit.

A:  Yes I believe it could be mounted to a wall. Just depends how much of an angle from can lighting you want.

                            by|May 5, 2023

A:  It as well as most fixed linear track lighting can be wall mounted, as long as your power source is already there in junction box form in the wall. You can also opt for a plug in adapter for it as well if you cannot hardwire it. Joseph
