A:  Hello, They say in the instructions that to not mount it to a deck, but I did and it seems to be holding up fine. One thing though, I butted one side of my canopy up against the deck railing and added some zip ties to make it more sturdy.

A:  Yes. I sprayed mine with a water resistant product that Rustoleum makes. I believe Scotchguard would be just fine. I haven't had any problems with the fabric discoloration, etc.
