A:  This light fixture comes with four 60w G9 Halogen bulbs and can be replaced by the same bulb which is sold in stores as a 2 pack (Store SKU# 1004629738). They also sell a lower wattage 40w bulb available (Store SKU# 1004629732) The other option would be to change the bulb to an LED versions G9-LED (Store SKU# 1004503709) This one I believe is the 40w equivalent version and fits best as the 60w version may be a bit taller and may protrude past the top of the glass cube. A:  Yes, this light uses G9 bi-pin bulbs, also available at Home Depot - in 25, 40 and 60 watt bright white halogen or 35 and 60 watt warm white halogen. Some have complained about the light being too bright, which comes from the bright white halogen lights supplied with the fixture. Google "color temperature" to learn about the difference between "bright white" and "warm white" light bulbs. We are so used to incandescent bulbs with a yellow cast (warm white) that a bright white appears to be too bright because it is closer to a bright sunlight in terms of color temperature.

A:  I don’t know this. They’re an odd bulb. We’ve had them for three years and haven’t had to replace any yet.

A:  Hello - this is a wedge based halogen G9 light bulb. So basically with the bulb cooled down you grip it firmly with your fingers and pull it out. Then when replacing you simply push it into the socket until it is sitting snug. Also remember to not touch the glass of bulb with your bare fingers, as the oils on your skin may leave a residue on the bulb that may cause it to burn out prematurely. Hope that helps.

A:  Hello. Simply reach from the top of the cover, when it is safe to do so, and pull up on the expired bulbs. Once the old bulbs are out, push in the new bulbs. Hope this helps!
