A:  Apparently it is 30" including plug. I have mine on a counter, sitting comfortably near the outlet situated on wall behind it. This has a feature to be able shorten cord length somewhat by winding underneath the toaster.

A:  I do not know, but I always use wooden/bamboo toast tongs to pull the hot toast from the toaster. You might also try the finger tip mitts made of silicone. Good luck!

A:  I use a plastic chop sticks to get the toast out without burning myself!
