A:  It is advised to have access to the following tools: a rotary saw, 5/16" or 3/8" flooring spacers, a tapping block, a pull bar, a rubber mallet, moisture barrier underlayment (if installing on a concrete or ceramic-based subfloor), a floating floor underlayment (if desired). The subfloor will need to be prepared, as well. Have the flooring professionally installed if any of the tools needed give you an unshakeable uneasy feeling. Ask the retailer if your shipment can be delayed.
