A:  Our filters do not remove chloramines, only free chlorine.

    A:  No, they do not. We use Chlorgon which is Copper, Zinc & Calcium.

            A:  Yes it does, by removing dirt, sediments and iron oxide.

              Q:On the exterior show left new right replace, what does this mean? Mine in houston has been using over 2 years, i still see the white particles.

              A:  The white beads will remain white the entire time, the rest of the filtration media will oxidize to a charcoal color when it needs to be replaced. The HOC is a 12 month replacement filter.
