A:  Dear Dar7 There will be a little shrinkage overall since they are cotton. If they are taken from the dryer damp and allowed to finish by air drying, that will decrease the shrinkage. A:  These towels do not shrink when washed. If you use a lot of paper towels, you can use these towels, and wash with the laundry. For heavy duty work, the towels are better, even with single use .
