A:  Hi Ally, Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes a new or freshly sharpened pair of tin snips can cut the sections. You can cut the front rail first then the dog leg which is a piece of the extrusion that butts up against the inside of the front lip of the gutter then cut the back aluminum rail then snap the section in two and trim the mesh.

    A:  Hi JJCC! The self-tapping screws are carbon steel self-tapping screws with a dacromet coating.

In cases where you cannot slide the gutter guards underneath the roof, we recommend you use the bending method, where you need to bend the mesh up or down and screw through the mesh and into the drip edge, fascia or back of the gutter.         A:  Hi Nels, The 3M tape install method is very durable when applied properly. We do not have a specific time frame regarding how long the tape last but it is very high bond adhesive tape similar to the one used by auto mobile manufacturer to stick their logo on a car.

              Q:tried to install these filters today and the self taping screws don't self tap AT ALL. they just spin and then going flying to the ground lost in the grass below!
