Q:Will this work with a husky framing nail gun?

Answer This Question

A:  Idk but they worked in our dewalt gun

by|May 6, 2023

A:  As long as the degree of the nail (in this case 21 degrees) match with the degree of the nailer than Grip-Rite nails can be used in any make or model nail gun. Please check the specifications of the nailer you are using - the degrees are usually listed on the nailer itself.

        Answer This Question

A:  Hi John, without knowing the model numbers of the central gun it cannot be confirmed if these nails will work or not. If the nail gun is 21 degrees, then these nails are compatible. Thank you for your question.

A:  Hi Trish, without knowing the model numbers of the Freeman gun, it cannot be confirmed if the shank nails will work or not. Freeman makes different types of nail guns with various degree angles. If the nail gun is 21 degrees, then these nails are compatible. Thank you for your question.

A:  Are you talking about a Simpson strong tie nailer? If so then no. Try one of these depending on what you are fastening. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Simpson-Strong-Tie-8d-x-1-1-2-in-Hot-Dip-Galvanized-33d-Collated-Structural-Connector-Nails-N8HDGPT500/203252684 https://www.homedepot.com/p/Simpson-Strong-Tie-10d-x-2-1-2-in-Hot-Dip-Galvanized-33d-Collated-Structural-Connector-Nails-N10DHDGPT500/203252681 https://www.homedepot.com/p/Simpson-Strong-Tie-16d-x-2-1-2-in-Hot-Dip-Galvanized-33d-Collated-Structural-Connector-Nails-N16HDGPT500/203252687

                    Answer This Question

A:  Hi Dan, These nails are not for use in cedar and where surface rust is unacceptable. It is recommended to use stainless steel for those type of projects. Thanks for your question.

                    by|May 4, 2023

A:  I am not sure what salt treated wood is. But if there is salt involved it might eventually eat up the galvanizing. Maybe you should check into stainless nails. I used them when I had to replace some fence sections. They last longer than the fence.

                      Answer This Question

A:  I used mine to mount 1" X 6" Hardie facia to my roofline. They should work fine as long as you do not nail too close to the edge of the board. You will need to test nail depth to ensure the nail head is flush with the board.
