A:  Home Depot sells a version of this weathervane with the proper roof mount online. If you already purchased the item, or a different model, they sell mounts for hip roofs (2 hole) and roof point (4 hole), so it depends on where you want to mount it.

A:  All depends on where you intend to install it. I installed mine on the top cover of my fireplace stack. Wasn't really that hard - Just required me to drill four (4) small holes in the cover.

A:  I had this item shipped directly to my home. If anything is ever wrong with your item you can simply return it to your local Home Depot and avoid any return shipping fees. I have done this with other items such as area rugs. Very easy to return.
