A:  I can't see why it wouldn't. Is the paint "exterior" paint? As long as the paint is appropriate to the application this brush should work fine.

A:  This will work but a semi-gloss or gloss will show up imperfections more. Personally I would go with a flat paint.

A:  We used it on our porch which had rough cut wood and smooth cut wood and it worked perfect on both.
