A:  Hello ricardo, here are instructions to mount it directly to wood studs. Tools and Parts Needed: ¹⁄₂" Wrench, ⁵⁄₁₆" x 1¹⁄₂" Lag screws (4), ⁵⁄₁₆", Flat washers (4) IMPORTANT: The round holes in the top and bottom cabinet back panels are spaced to allow you to mount the wall cabinet to your garage wall studs. 1. Locate the wood studs in your garage wall. Align two holes at the top and two holes at the bottom with the wood studs, and mark the location of the holes. 2. While two or more people hold the cabinet against the wall, attach the wall cabinet to the garage wall using ⁵⁄₁₆" flat washers and ⁵⁄₁₆" x 1¹⁄₂" Lag screws (not provided). 3. Using a ¹⁄₂" wrench, fully tighten the screws.

A:  Depending how high you want them.  It can be any distance within you garage walls.  Mine are about 51/2' to 6' off the ground mainly because I have something else underneath them, work bench etc.  So no requirement to mount in a garage. You might have a car that you may have to mount 7' or above the vehicle.

A:  I did 8ft from the floor to the top of the cabinet which I believe is the standard 

A:  No set rule. I mounted mine at a height that allows me to reach the top shelf without having to stand on a step stool
