A:  The unit out of the box is 24 inches but it has qty 2 4 inch extensions. Not sure how the extensions would look as I used it as a 24 inch unit.

A:  This towel bar comes with two different size extensions for almost any installation needed!

A:  With no extensions it's 18 inches. With 1 extention it's 21 inches. With both extentions it measures 24 inches long.
