A:  Thank you for your interest in our products. No, the mounting hardware is not included with Architectural Mailboxes. They're included in with the mounting brackets/ boards and posts.

A:  Thank you for your interest in our products. All Home Depot stores do not stock all of Gibraltar mailboxes in house. They have a Pro-Desk that will special order for you.

A:  Gibraltar bolted right up on my Brighton box

A:  We used a 4x/4 post with a 2/x4 on top of it.. .It's really however strong you want to make it..

A:  I used two 2x6's (11 inches) side by side a little shorter than the box for a perfect fit.

It also gives screw hole locations.  I used two pieces of 5/4 pressure treated pine decking board (turned sideways). The board needs to be slightly more than 1” thick, so a 1x board is too thin.  Or you could just use the plastic or steel mounting boards HD sells.

A:  It does but we have used a pressure treated wood and it has lasted 38 years. Love this mailbox.
