A:  No, these are made of brass and will not rust.

A:  The grommet size is the opening, i.e., the hole.

A:  I bought these and some extra ones separate. All of them measure the holes themselves as .5" (1/2"). The hole and the lip measures just under 1".

A:  The hole size is 1/2". The outside diameter is 1 1/16".

A:  The ones at HD no,, they are all brass,,,, guess you will need to go to a Hobby Shop or something.
