Answer This Question

A:  Thank you aelsurf for your question. ALL our lights feature on/off switch. Some are exterior and some are interior. This barn light's on/off switch is interior, meaning it's located beneath the glass dome. if you have any more question regarding this item, please contact us directly at support@gamasonic.com

A:  Yes there is an on/off switch, but you'll have to twist off the globe each time to get to it.

Q:The description for this light in the PRODUCT OVERVIEW says its a 100 Lumens, but in a response to a complaint in the CUSTOMER REVIEWS the company states For every hour of direct sun on the panel, you should see 1.5 hours of (120-lumen) bright-white light at night from the six integrated LEDs. So what is the real answer?

A:  The GS-122 has 100 lumens. That statement is true. Every hour of direct sunlight, charges the unit for 1.5 hours.

Q:Is there a cord connecting the lamp to the solar panel? What color is it? How thick is it? I would like to see a picture of this installed to see how others have dealt with the cord and aesthetics. Anyone have one?

A:  There is which at first I was disappointed with. The panel is a bit bigger than I thought it would be too. After it was installed, it isn't as noticeable as I thought it was going to be. It looks amazing at night and gives off more than enough light (even on dark, wintery days). Well worth the little extra bulk from the solar panel for the savings in electricity. The lamp itself is much nicer than the picture.

A:  There is a cord connecting the solar panel to the fixture. Its like a dark bronze I would say. Sticks out about 8 in from the wall.

A:  There is a cord that connects the light fixture and the panel., It is black, about eight-feet long, and about 1/4 inch thick. I hope this helps you with your evaluation. Please let us know if we can answer additional questions. We're here to help. Best Regards, Gama Sonic Support
