Q:Different Sockets
Thanks for the response GW, but it is simply not true of the "only difference" being the stamping. Any socket will have the other features you mentioned. These are deep broach, supposed to be shallow, deceptive.

Q:179 piece Nascar / Stewart Haas / Kevin Harvick / Limited Edition / Mechanics Set:
Why are these not the normal GW sockets pictured in the marketing photos?
These sockets are very cheap and have none of the features of the normal GW sockets.

A: Johnny, The only change for these sockets is the identification ring at the bottom of the socket. They still feature a full polish chrome finish, Hard stamped markings, Chamfered openings, and an off-corner loading design.

Q:Can we get a complete list of all of the items included in this kit, like wrench and socket size etc.? There are two kits with the same tool count, but neither of them (or any Gear Wrench items) give a good description of the contents of their kits. Thx

A: Ignore the other replies, the 80966 set is all 6-point sockets and wrenches, that is the distinguishing feature. (No ratcheting wrenches.) The manufacturer should know better than to post objectively verifiably incorrect info here, jfc.
