A: Hi Trish-this is Sue from GE Appliances. We're excited to hear of your interest! JS250DFWW is the only slide-in model available with coil burners. JS750DFWW and JS630DFWW feature a radiant glass cooktop. Canning is possible on the radiant glass cooktops as long as the canner has a flat bottom. Thanks for checking with us!

A: Hello LeRoy,
I am happy to assist you. This range has an electronic control panel that has a blower built into the appliance to keep the controls cool during bake, broil and self-clean.
When the area around the clock gets too warm (approximately 140 degrees) the blower will automatically come on to cool the components.
When using the surface units for an extended period of time, the area around the clock may become too warm and the blower may come on.
On some models, the fan comes on as soon as the cycle starts.
Thank you for checking with us. Lisa from GE Appliances.
