A:  Hi Anne- Model JT1000SFSS does not have a Light switch on the control panel. The light comes on when the door is opened. You may want to consider our GE® 30" Built-In Single Wall Oven JT3000SFSS. This model has a Light switch on the control panel. This allows you to turn on the oven light without opening the door. Your JTP15B0A3BB 30" built-in wall oven required the following cabinet cutout dimensions: 28-1/2" wide x 27-1/4" high x 23-1/2" deep.
