A: Yes it could but this one is pretty wide to use for doors. They make other products that would work well.

A: Since I have not used it in that application, I can't affirm that it could be used for home doors? However, since I used it to waterproof a 2004 Freestar's engine compartment, I really don't see why it wouldn't work in your situation. Gb bg
