A:  you can adjust your freezer to freeze the food to a lower temperature without the fridge area freezing up too. i like my ice cream a bit soft so i can lower the freezer with the fridge warming up too causing the milk to spoil sooner.

A:  i don't know the cost but i saved a shelf from my old model and there was no room for it without leaving you with maybe 3 inches to work with. i took it back out within days as the only thing that fit was butter pretty much and no room to remove anything on the shelf.

A:  As long as it doesn't go below freezing and isn't exposed to elements, the temperature shouldn't damage the unit; however, the electronics on the unit are not very sturdy, and cost almost as much as the unit to replace, so I wouldn't keep it against any walls with vibrations

A:  Why don't you call the store and talk to them about it? I don't think they care WHERE they deliver it, as long as there's someone available to accept delivery and as long as it's within a certain distance of the store. If you are planning to have the refrigerator delivered to a completely different place, (like, if you buy it for a daughter and she lives 800 miles away) then call the store local to where you will want it delivered and discuss it with them. If delivery is free, why hassle with hauling it yourself?

A:  Because Home Depot just acts like a middle man, they just place the order with Electrolux directly. This also makes any returns/exchanges extremely unlikely.

A:  There are three side (door) shelves. The highest shelf is 14.5 inches and 6 inches deep. That is in the middle. It is the highest and deepest door shelf. The height between the flat shelves (NOT in door), depends. They are adjustable. But to give someone an idea. There are two moveable shelves. The lowest shelf level is approx. 7 inches from bottom (meaning between the bins and where the shelf would be at the lowest level. If you used just one shelf and place it at the highest position, you would have about 14 inches of height. Each shelf position is about 2 inches apart. We are using both shelves, which gives us an actual three level of shelves. The fixed area above the bins, then another shelf we placed on the second position, and then the third is one position from the top. We are able to put soda packs of cans and bottles easily on any shelf.
