A: The PCN450 has upgraded internal components, allowing for faster bump firing, a feature contractors look for. General homeowner use, both nailers work extremely well. The PCN45 comes with a blow molded case, the 450 does not.

A: The Freeman Coil Roofing nailer does have a tool free depth adjustment. Adjusted all the way to its shallowest setting, along with backing off the air pressure some, you could likely find the correct gap for vinyl siding expansion, however consistency may be an issue. Bostitch does manufacture a Vinyl siding adapter for their roofing nailer to provide consistency, at this point I am not certain if that would fit our nailer or not.

A: Many people use a roofing nailer for fiber cement siding, but I wold advise reading the installation instructions from the manufacturer of your siding to ensure you do not void the warranty by installing incorrectly.

A: Make sure these are roofing nails, not siding nails. The PCN45 takes wire collated roofing nails.
