Q:At this price stated does this come with the pedestal, anchor bolts, and vandal-proof fasteners for anchor bolts to be used to install in existing concrete base?

      Answer This Question

A:  Hello Brendan, This unit does come with the cabinet and pedestal, but does not include anchor bolts mainly because different hardware would be needed for a new concrete pour vs and existing slab. There are anchor bolts or "J" Bolts that could be purchased for a new slab or we suggest Hilti bolts for an existing concrete base. The "vandal proof fasteners" are Mcgaurd Nuts and those are proprietary to the postal service so they would be the ones who would have to provide and install them.

        Answer This Question

A:  Each tenant compartment includes 3 keys. There are key blanks that could be purchased depending on the key code. If they key code is code range 1000 or 3000 the key blank needed would be 91512,or code range is 2000 or 4000 the blank needed would be 91513. If all keys are lost you would need to purchase a new lock k91910.

            Answer This Question

A:  Hello Mike, Unfortunately, I am with the manufacturer of this mailbox and not Home Depot. I am not aware that they offer this service, but I would suggest you reach out to your local Home Depot location and see if that is an option that is available. Thank you!

              Answer This Question

A:  Usually the back panel on the mailbox opens so the mail can be put into slots and the resident can unlock them in the front And some open on the front with a door that opens to all slots and the mail person can load and lock the main door So a resident can open there own door for their mail

              by|Apr 7, 2020

A:  He has a master key that allows him to open the entire unit at one time and access all the units in that step. Then he places your mail in the appropriate slot (which is marked on the inside). That also enables him to place parcels in one of the two larger parcel slots and leave the key in the recipient's box.

                by|Apr 7, 2020

A:  This mailbox unit actually opens in the front. USPS has a master door where they can gain access to they can open up the entire unit. A left and right gate open so that they can deposit your mail with more security and less interference from the elements.

                      Answer This Question

A:  Yes, these mailboxes are officially licensed by the U.S. Postal Service.

                      by|Feb 9, 2019

A:  I would not describe this as a double walled design, but this is a USPS approved unit. The postal service owns the design of the unit and we are not allowed differentiate from that. I would suggest if you are concerned about the postal approval you can always confirm with your local post office before you purchase the unit. Thank you!

Q:What numbering product did you use to withstand weather? We live in AZ and the sun beats everything to death?

                          Answer This Question

A:  The lighter color units seem to withstand the sun a little better than the darker ones. I would also suggest getting engraving. It won't fade, but the decal numbering can fade over time if it gets direct sunlight.
