A: Hello Gaviota - you should expect similar performance to any small charcoal grill. If you plan to use a pot, we recommend using a lightweight vessel no larger than 7" diameter and 4" in height, or a shallow pan no more than 10" in diameter.

A: Yes , if you have charcoal. I loved this grill for camping as well it’s stable and the grill heats evenly.

A: I had one and I don't see any reason it couldn't handle a frying pan. A description for this unit would be closer to flimsy, than cast iron. However, it works and the price is good.

A: no.........

A: The unit doesn't get hot at the bottom of the stand, so no, the unit won't burn a laminated table top, but the chance of an ember burning it is fairly high. I'd suggest you put one of those flat oven pans (12x18x1/2?) under it.

A: This is an outdoor grill and I wouldn’t advise using it in any other fashion. It’s good for ease of travel and packs well for camping of the beach. Hope that helps.

Never use charcoal indoors, you won't be around to put the leftovers away - you'll be DEAD!

A: I wouldn’t advise it. It wasn’t designed for it and it’s not really a size big enough to hold a lot of wood; mainly it’s just a small but easily portable charcoal grill. I’m not saying you can’t burn a log and some kindling, but you likely won’t get much life out of it and likewise, it may not have the effect you’d desire out of a true-to-life fire pit. I know you can find some online fairly cheap and I know people, including myself, that got the “curved” bricks and built our own. I did roughly three rows in a complete circle (offsetting bricks each row) and it worked out nicely. I’ve also seen people secure the bricks using outdoor caulking (essentially gluing) them together so they stay in place if someone was to “run into them.” You May look on YouTube for videos on that. Lastly, unless you’re placing those bricks on a dirt/grassy surface you don’t mind repairing later, you’d want to ensure you put down a metal plate or something to protect the surface (concrete, etc.). I’ve also seen some folks use an optional grilling grate on top to cook meat on occasion. Fun for the family/ guests. Just some ideas. Hope that helps and good luck.
