Q:Can this product be used as baseboards (floor trim)? What is the best way to attach with least damage to the walls, as I know I will be removing again in a couple months for new flooring?

A: Great for baseboards. Use 16g finishing nails to secure into wall studs, when removing for new flooring use a taping knife against the drywall to prevent your pry bar from damaging the walls

A: Yes, you can use it as baseboard trim. I did. I used 1X6 boards for baseboards and header trim with 1X4 as vertical trim around doors and windows. I suggest using small finish nails if you’re thinking of removing the boards soon. Use a nail gun if possible because then you won’t have to worry about hammer dents in the boards. Practice (with the nail gun) on a small piece of trim so that you get the correct pressure on your air compressor.

A: I used this as baseboard. I attached it with my Ryobi Powerstrike nailer. You could use trim head screws and screw into studs or use a finish nailer and nail 2 nails close to each other angled toward each other into just drywall. There is risk you could damage your drywall when you pry them off as your pry bar can dig into drywall and smash it. Trim head screws into studs might make for cleaner removal.
