Q:Is the power cord flexible when it exits the unit? My space is tight, the cord would need to bend close to 90 degrees so it go downwards (to reach the outlet).

          A:  The instructions say it provides light for a 2’ by 2’ area. I’m using it to provide light for two 10” by 20” seedling trays placed side by side with excellent results!

                    A:  They should work well in your basement, or anywhere. I am using mine for banana peppers and cherry tomatoes in planters that were just starting to really produce, but needed to be inside now that it's colder, and the plants are growing well and the tomatoes are ripening!
