Q:I want to grow garden veg. and flowers from seed to hardy seedling only, then plant outside. Do I need the 32 watt or the 19 watt for this application?

    Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question, you can use both 32w or 19w for the application. The amount of distance and time used all depends on the type of plant being grown. High Light Plants (such as tomatoes, peppers, perennials, etc) would benefit from 6” distance during the seeding stage, and a distance of 16”-30” during vegetative/flowering stage. Low Light Plants (such as basil, lettuce, etc) would benefit from 12” distance during seeding stage, and a distance of 24”-30”
