A:  Thank you for your interest in our product. Due to the weight of the 4x8 wall panels, we do not recommend installing the 4X8 panels to a ceiling application. The weight of the panels will cause the panels to fall down. Additionally, if the panels were cut into smaller sections, the lip of each panel section would not overlap. A:  These panels should not be exposed to heat over 140 degrees, so they are best not used for a stove.

A:  Hello and thank you for your interest in our product. Even though the Fasade Decorative panels are fire-retardant, they can be deformed by excessive heat (over 140 degrees Fahrenheit). The panels can be installed behind a stove if the stove has a control panel. Be sure to keep stovetop burners, toaster ovens, cooking ranges, etc., 6 inches away from the panel's surface. A:  No, this will not work as a counter top.

We do not recommend using it as a counter top where there will be a high traffic volume, although the panels are made of a durable material the finish is susceptible to scratches and dents. Some of our panels are able to be used in a tub and shower surround depending upon the color finish, this specific color however is not recommended to be used in a shower. Being that you are wanting to apply them to wood we do recommend priming the surface prior to installation with an oil based primer.
