A: Hello and thank you for your interest in our product. The Fasade Decorative panels are considered a permanent application and damage to the substrate is possible upon removal. The adhesive used to install these panels is a very aggressive adhesive, you can either us a backing board or install the panels using a small nail instead. Q:We want to put this in our small RV behind the burners and behind the sink. We were thinking that we could use tiny nails to hold it onto the walls so it wouldn't destroy the wood and the wall covering in case some day we, or the next owner wanted to remove it. Would this work?

A: Hello sophie,
The following is part of the installation instructions: Before starting, make sure all surfaces are clean, dry, flat, smooth and free from dust, grease, etc. Lightly sand any glossy surfaces to remove sheen. Clean
the back surface of the panels by wiping with a clean cloth and rubbing alcohol.
Refer to adhesive manufacturer's directions.
So they indicate it must be a smooth surface for proper adhesion,

A: Hello and thank you for your interest in our product. The wall to which you plan to install backsplash panels to needs to be freshly cleaned, free from dust, grease, wax, etc. After you’ve cleaned the wall, be sure that it is dried thoroughly. Acceptable substrates are drywall, plaster or clean, smooth tile (glazed, porcelain type tile; not porous or textured). Any damaged, loose or uneven areas must be repaired, patched, leveled and primed. Fill cracks and irregularities with wallboard compound or spackling, then sand smooth with fine-grade sandpaper. Any porous material like highly textured drywall, plywood (or any raw wood without primer), and wallpaper unless removed, sanded and primed, will result in adhesive failure.
