A: Thank you for your great questions! The Ripple PVC Decorative Backsplash Panel in Gloss White is water resistent and can easily be applied over existing ceramic tile. If installing over existing ceramic tile, be sure to thoroughly clean old tiles, but priming ceramic tiles is not required. However, we do not recommend installing our panels in a shower where they would receive constant direct water contact. Some of the water may seep behind the panels and effect the adhesive causing the panels to come loose from the substrate. If you have any additional installation questions please feel free to reach out to our customer care team at 800.434.3570. Thanks again!

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your great question! Unfortunately, we do not recommend using our Ripple PVC Decorative Backsplash Panels in a shower setting. The water will not affect the panels themselves, but too much direct water contact with effect the adhesive that is used to secure the panels to your substrate. Please feel free to reach out to our customer care team at 800.434.3750 with any additional questions you may have. Thanks again!

A: Thank you for your interest in our product. One of our backsplash panels’ greatest feature is that it will fit over existing ceramic tile. We recommend using our tape adhesive over glue as it will stick to tile more aggressively. Please feel free to contact our customer care team at 800.434.3750 for any further questions or needed assistance. Thanks again!

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your interest in our product! Even though the backsplash panels are fire-retardant, they can be deformed by excessive heat (over 140 degrees Fahrenheit). Be sure to keep the heat source 6 inches away from the panel's surface. Please feel free to contact our customer care team at 800.434.3750 for any further questions or needed assistance. Thanks again!
