A:  Yes, they are 18" long. The sheets they go with are 18" x 24", typically run the long way above your countertop. The corner pieces and the J trim are only needed in the corners and to end the splash in the middle of a flat surface.

A:  The walls were a blue-gray. I'm not a gray person, but the boyfriend likes it, so I warmed it up a bit to a taupe color. Its a Behr color called Golden Candlestick Silver. Looks really nice.

A:  Thank you for your great question! Our Fasade Smoked Pewter J-Trim can be installed over existing tile if you are pairing it with our Fasade panels. Just like with our panels, you need to make sure the substrate you are applying the tiles to is smooth, clean, flat and dry. Any cracks or irregularities need to be filled in, and tiles that have a high gloss on them could be buffed slightly to create a better substrate for the adhesive to attach to. If you have any additional questions please feel free to reach out to our customer care team at 800.434.3750. Thank you!

A:  Pick up some tubes of liquid nails in the paint dept. Make sure to read the recommendations to be sure you get one safe for acrylic. These work with caulk guns, and I also purchased a dispenser nozzle that feeds the glue out in many fine lines, rather than one thick one. They're red, plastic, one time use, and cost about $2. Totally worth the cost!

A:  Buy a tube of caulk adhesive. Make sure its rated safe for vinyl. I also purchased a red plastic dispenser that goes over the nozzle of the caulk tube, in the caulk gun, which dispenses the adhesive out in lots of little rows instead of a thick line of it.

A:  Hello! Thank you for your question! Even though the backsplash panels are fire-retardant, they can be deformed by excessive heat (over 140 degrees Fahrenheit). The panels can be installed above or behind most stoves. Be sure to keep direct heat sources – toaster ovens, cooking burners, etc., a minimum of 3 inches away from the backsplash panel’s surface.
