A:  It is not nonslip - we put the padding under a large area rug with furniture on it, so it doesn't move. Using a nonslip pad would be better.

A:  Thank you for your question. Yes, this product is an excellent choice for under your area rug and above you vinyl plank floors. The foam will not stain the floor. If you damp mop your vinyl plank, please make sure the floor is completely dry before placing the foam and area rug down.
