A:  Yes, it is cut to fit. It is designed for an 80" door and up to 36" width, but you can cut the width or height down. I'm using it for a 24" width door. Yes, I'm also using the Rocket Pocket Door Frame, which can also be cut to fit.

        A:  No. 2 x 4 construction.

          A:  For this Pocket Door Jamb Kit the width of the strike jamb is 4.5 inches. The split jambs and split header jambs are each 1.38 inches wide.

            A:  Well the solid jamb side is set up for a 2X4 set up so I don’t think so.

                    A:  The strike jam is wide enough to cover the 3.5" 2x4 and both sides of sheet rock so i assume its approximately 4.5-5". As for the the slider pieces, i think they are 1-1.5" just enough to cover the sheet rock and the thin wall joist in the door kit. This kit was so easy to install. There is a guy i watched installing it on youtube before i did mine.

                      A:  The Strike jamb = 4.5 inches. The Split Jambs/Split Header Jambs = 1-3/8 inches.
