Q:how much ethanol should i used for a pressure washer 3,000 psi 2.3 gpm

Answer This Question

A:  We recommend 1oz Ethanol Shield per 2.5 gallons of gasoline. We also recommend that you treat the gas can(s) that feed into your equipment to ensure all of your equipment is treated. With that said, you can add it directly to your equipment's fuel tank and you can not over treat with the product. If you add 1 oz to half a gallon there shouldn't be any issues.

A:  It would depend on the amount of fuel in the washer fuel tank. I believe the ratio is 1 oz. of stabilizer to 2.5 gallons of gasoline.

A:  If the vehicle will be sitting for more than 30 days, then condensation may begin to build up. Our Ethanol Shield will help by bonding the condensation/water to the fuel, so it will burn. However, if the vehicle is run regularly, then it will not be effective for your use when using pure gasoline with no ethanol.

A:  Yes. I use non-ethanol in my home yard equipment and the ethanol shield. Have had no problems with fuel storage over winter, etc.

            by|May 5, 2023

A:  I don't see why not. I don't know the shelf life of non ethanol gas but I believe this stuff would help with condensation accumulation in that gas over time. BTW, where'd you find non ethanol gas?

A:  Why not? I use it for that purpose too

Q:If 2 ounces of Ethanol Shield treats 5 gallons of gas and there are 24 ounces of ethanol shield in this bottle, you could treat twelve 5 gallon containers of gas for a total of 60 gallons. How can the contents of this bottle treat up to 240 gallons?

                        Answer This Question

A:  There are several ways this can be used depending upon the application. For power equipment, mix 2oz to 5 gallons. For automotive use, 1oz per 10 gallons for everyday use. If the car etc. will sit for a long period, mix it at 2oz per 5 gallons. Additionally, if there is extra Ethanol Shield added, it will not hurt anything. In other words, Ethanol Shield cannot be over mixed.
