A:  Your best bet would be to go to a store and actually look at the item. It's in my truck and it is late but by memory I think it could work in that space.

Q:Can I used this for pulling up vinyl tiles without tearing them?

              Answer This Question

A:  You could but a flat bar might work better. For me this works when I need something a bit stronger than a flat bar. Could it get the job done? Yes.

              by|Dec 5, 2018

A:  Not likely, but as far as pry bars go... this is your best option.

              by|May 5, 2023

A:  No, this is not the proper tool for that. You are looking for some sort of scraper which will cut between the vinyl and sub-floor. Pry bars are used to get between surfaces and then separate them by leverage, this will bend and possibly crack, cut, or crease your vinyl.

A:  Maybe, depends how well the tiles adhesion is still in tact.

A:  Maybe, if you are careful. You would need to loosen the tile at several points before trying to remove it. The wider than normal at the working end might allow you to do that.
