While our products can be used in areas where children and pets play, one must always be alert for possible allergic reactions.           A:  Thank you for your question. Lime is sometimes used in the compost pile as the decomposition process can turn acidic which can slow down the process. Lime can help alleviate that acidity.

              A:  Thank you for your question. Grapefruit grow best in slightly acidic soils (pH 6.0 to 7.0) – thus Garden Lime might not be best for them. You can do a simple home pH test to discover the soil pH to be sure. Feed the Grapefruit with Espoma Organic Citrus-tone.
