A:  Hello Dennis, Great inquiry! The door hinge on unit model EIFLW50LIW is located on the left hand side which means the door will open to the left. This door can be reversed if needed. A:  The door can be switched from left to right. It comes on the left. The dryer is on the right.

A:  The hinge assy came on the left side but I you can swap the hinge and latch assemblies, as I had to for our laundry room. It was not as easy a job as the last washer we had but it's a more advanced machine than our last one. It was worth buying what I thought I wanted and doing the swap rather than buy something I didn't want, that had the correct door orientation
