Answer This Question
A: Chalk paint shouldn't be strained but it should be thinned about 30-40% to spray with the 1900.

A: Don't think the type of paint matters, it is the thickness of the paint. Instructions are very specific on how the paint should be. It even came with a funnel so you could time how long it took the paint to run through the opening at the bottom. Even thinned, the paint still covered very well. I did use a high quality Sherwin Williams paint with the primer already in it.

A: You can spray any liquid you want with the 1900, depending on thickness. Clean it up by using the thinner for the material you were just spraying. There is no need to go to a harsher chemical for cleaning. We're happy to help at 800-328-8251.

A: For a factory automotive finish this is not the tool. It will spray latex and oil paints and lacquers. I comes with a 2.0mm needle and you can get a 1.5 or even a 1.0mm for finer finishing. We have many sprayers capable of spraying automotive finishes, give us a call at 800-328-8251 to discuss further.
