Answer This Question
A: It depends on how thick and flexible the pet screen is because the spline has to push up behind the little lip. The spline is a flattened half round shape.

Answer This Question
A: No, they are not adjustable. On the 14' wall you will have to divide the room in 2- 7' sections with a PH2x2 in the middle. If you have more questions, you can send measurements and questions to: Support@ezhandrail.com.

Q:I have a garage door opening that is 8ft tall by 13ft 5 inches.
I need a screen that is 8ftx3ft, 5 inches. I am going to use a mesh magnetic for the rest. Can this be done?

Answer This Question
A: Absolutely. This EZ Screen system is infinitely flexible, able to be adapted to many installations. When designing your unique layout, be advised that 1x2’s are typically used to frame the interior of existing opening, and the 2x2’s used as more structural pieces, to divide framed wider openings.
Thanks for your question.

Q:I would like to screen in the rear porch our my home that has a concrete floor. As I screw down the 1x2 extruded channel to the concrete, how does rain that blows through the screen during storms drain off? It could be very slow.

Answer This Question
A: The extruded channel won't be sealed to the floor, water should still drain. If your concrete has expansion joints then they would act as drains. If there aren't expansion joints you could find some kind of shim to put under the channels to give a little space, such as stainless steel or aluminum washers between the concrete and the channel.
Mine channel is on a deck so drainage is no issue.

A: 2 comments: typically minimal moisture travels to the inside screen surface - even w/a wind; the ebb and flow of natural air humidity eventually dries interior surfaces.
