A: Yes, it can go over the right shoulder or left shoulder.
A: Hi there! thank you for your inquiry. The strap can go over your right shoulder or left shoulder as needed. Just to keep in mind that all ECHO products are designed for right hand operation. However, all handheld blowers can be used for left hand use.
A: Yes
A: Hi Mike! Thank you for your inquiry. We do not offer a shoulder strap for any of the articulating hedge trimmers due to safety concerns.
A: No I don't think hedge trimmers would be used in such an application where it may create a safety hazard. Hope that helps
A: Adajust it to fit me and it’s ready to go‼️
A: Put the strap over one shoulder with the red disk on your back and the clip in front. Then lift the trimmer and clip the metal ring on the shaft to the strap.
A: Remove trimmer head and slide adjust ring onto shaft. Not difficult

A: Yes! It would be a matter of placing it on the shaft near the handle and adjusting it for proper balance. Good Product.
A: The Shoulder Strap Kit, Part #99944200200, is for use with ECHO trimmers and brushcutters only.
A: It works on multiple Echo trimmers
A: No it will work on any trimmer
A: It will work with other tools if they have a place to clip it on.
A: This particular was specific to echo srm 225
A: This particular strap is specific to echo srm 225
A: Yes I believe it would. Just went out to shed to look and the strap comes with a "clamp" that attaches to string trimmer shaft and strap is then attached to this. Sliding this clamp up or down the shaft of trimmer accomplishes different self comfort styles. Only thing I would say is that the strap does not relieve your effort of actual use as you must still "pilot" the unit with your arms but gives you a rest that you don't have to carry it from point to point but can rather steady it on your shoulder and gives hands/arms a rest while walking to next spot. The clamp I'm speaking of is in photo just to lower right of red shoulder pad. If I remember right it was kinda pricey but I'd buy another; I do like it.
A: Hi kent, this Shoulder Strap Kit for Hedge Trimmers is an online exclusive item as there is no listed store SKU. It can be shipped to you directly or if it is eligible, shipped to a Home Depot store: however, it is not available to purchase directly from a Home Depot store. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot!
A: no we ordered it online
A: NO.
A: This was an online order not available at my near by stores
A: It was not when I ordered. My guess is this is not a stocked item
A: The installation instructions that came with the strap are adequate, although they could certainly be better. To install the strap, the trimmer head has to be removed from the shaft. I also had to remove the handle to get the strap fitting higher on the shaft. Then, replace the handle and trimmer head, find the balance point on the shaft and tighten the strap attachment there. That's all there is to it. It must have taken me about 15 minutes.
A: Yes.
A: The Echo strap comes with instructions, but I think its only for Echo, but I wouldn't recommend it.
A: ECHO offers written instructions along with a video at www.echo-usa.com Below is a direct link to both instructions on the shoulder strap installation. http://echo-usa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/889
A: You need to remove the head of the trimmer using a Torx bit screwdriver. Loosen and remove the center screw, do not lose it, this locks the head in place. Then loosen the 2 screws on the sides, it will slide right off. You then need to remove the handle completely. Slide the sleeve with the ring up the shaft to above where you will reinstall the handle. Just leave it loose for now with the ring dangling. You can then reattach the handle and the head. The washers on the screws on the head have flat spots in them that have to align to allow it to go back on the shaft, you will get your finger a little greasy but just use your finger to put the flat spots on the washers in place to allow the shaft to slide back on. If you have had the trimmer for a while and used it, put a little white lithium grease in there to assist. Put the alignment screw back in the center, aligning with the center hole, tighten, then tighten the 2 screws on the sides. You can then put the strap on, attach to the ring you put on the shaft and find the balance point for you. Once you find the balance point, hold the sleeve in place and tighten with the ring @ the top. Then go break a sweat in the yard. :-)
A: No, at least not in Joplin, MO
A: Presently working for Home Depot as part of the MET team, I have not physically seen this item in any of the four stores that we service. That does not necessarily mean that it is not there. An easy way to check would be to look up the item and SKU number on line, log on to your favorite and closest store, and check inventory. Also try ordering online as most of the time, the site will tell you if it is a store pickup item or not.
A: No.
A: It was not in TX. I was forced to order it from the website. I had it shipped to store for free, took a little over a week. That was one of my customer service complaints. Should be available @ the store.
A: The answer is NO. I called echo to check and they said not at this time.
How can we help?
