A:  This variation of the Unidoor will include 2 glass shelves that must be installed. The glass shelves will function as shelves, but they will also provide the necessary support to the stationary glass. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

A:  This item will ship on a pallet containing multiple boxes. The largest box will be the door glass box which will be approximately 32" x 76". There will be another smaller glass box (also 76" in length), a large hardware box (approx. 74" in length), and a small hardware box for the hinges and handle. A:  If you have a 45-3/4" opening, you will need the next model size down which will be the 45-56" model size. If you try to put a 46-47" model size into your 45-3/4" opening, it will be entirely too small and the glass panels will bang into each other (this is dangerous and could cause the glass to shatter). A:  Yes, this model is reversible and you can put the door on either side of the opening. Please just make sure that the proper required wood support is behind the finished wall on the side where you intend to hang the door. A:  You will need to use the shelves. The fixed portion of the door is pre-drilled with holes for the shelves. In addition the shelves makes the fixed portion more stable.

A:  Yes, the shelves must be installed as they are the source of support for the stationary panel. You may want to check your finished measurements and look at the Unidoor Plus. A:  The DreamLine Unidoor shower doors now feature adjustable hinges, allowing you to choose if you would like the door to open inward or outward. The hinges come to you pre-set by the factory to open outward, which is the recommended position. Should you choose to adjust the hinge to open inward, you will need to change the orientation of the vinyl piece that the door closes against, installing the flange on the outside of the shower. Instructions will be included with the hinge for changing the orientation of the swing. A simple adjustment is all that it takes to allow the door to open inward.
