Answer This Question
A: No, this model will not fit an opening 43-7/8" wide. It will be too large for that opening. If all of your finished measurements are between 43" and 44" you will need the SHDR-20437210-01. If you are over 44" at any point, please contact DreamLine's PreSales Consultants for help. DreamLine's PreSales Consultants can be reached by phone at 866-282-8413 or by email at support@dreamline.com. We are available M-F from 9am-6pm EST. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine! Answer This Question
A: All DreamLine shower/tub doors and enclosures require smooth, solid finished walls, true 90° angles where the wall meets the threshold, and finished walls that are at least as tall as the shower/tub door or enclosure. If the walls of your fiberglass enclosure have any give or flex to them when you push on the wall, most likely there is a pocket of dead space behind the wall and the wall is not solid. Please make sure that your shower/tub meets these requirements for installation before making your choice. We invite you to contact our DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866-731-2244 to discuss this further. We can also be reached by sending an email to support@dreamline.com. Our hours of operation are 8am-7pm EST, Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm EST.

Q:I can not drill into the threshold for the bottom bracket on the stationary glass side. Can I use a strong, water proof epoxy or glue to secure bottom bracket? I will be using the arm bracket at the top of the stationary glass.

Answer This Question
A: The bottom bracket for the stationary panel on the Unidoor must be drilled into your base, as outlined in the installation manual. Not installing the panel per the manual will void your warranty on the shower door. These are large panels of tempered glass and it is very important that they be installed safely and securely.
